 Jean is currently working on writing a memoir-in-essays about her small town Louisiana roots.

Her creative nonfiction essays have appeared in Ninth Letter online, Orion's Place Where You Live, the Christian Science Monitor’s Home Forum, Hippocampus, and elsewhere.
